چکیده

Appendix The following is an appendix which provides additional information to substantiate the claims of the paper. Appendix 1 describes details of the high-resolution protein backbone computation from residual dipolar coupling data. In Appendix 2, we state Chernoff bounds. Appendices 3 and 4 describe the pseudocode for the Hausdorff-based similarity measure and the NOE assignment algorithm HANA, respectively. Appendix 5 provides a detailed proof our main theorem (Theorem 5.1 in our paper). Finally, in Appendix 6 we present an analysis of the running time of HANA.

A Hausdorff-based Noe Assignment Algorithm Using Protein Backbone Determined from Residual Dipolar Couplings and Rotamer Patterns.

High-throughput structure determination based on solution Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy plays an important role in structural genomics. One of the main bottlenecks in NMR structure determination is the interpretation of NMR data to obtain a sufficient number of accurate distance restraints by assigning nuclear Overhauser effect (NOE) spectral peaks to pairs of protons. The diffi...

Appendix 1 briefly reviews the high-resolution protein backbone determination from residual dipolar coupling data. Appendix 2 derives the Hausdorff-based measure for evaluating the matching score between a back-computed NOE pattern and experimental spectra. Appendix 3 briefly reviews the DEE and A* search algorithms. Appendix 4 describes the NMR experimental procedures. Appendix 5 describes the...

A Bayesian Approach for Determining Protein Side-Chain Rotamer Conformations Using Unassigned NOE Data

A major bottleneck in protein structure determination via nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is the lengthy and laborious process of assigning resonances and nuclear Overhauser effect (NOE) cross peaks. Recent studies have shown that accurate backbone folds can be determined using sparse NMR data, such as residual dipolar couplings (RDCs) or backbone chemical shifts. This opens a question of whet...

CABM Symposium Complete protein structure determination using backbone residual dipolar couplings and sidechain rotamer prediction

Residual dipolar couplings provide significant structural information for proteins in the solution state, which makes them attractive for the rapid determination of protein structures. While dipolar couplings contain inherent structural ambiguities, these can be reduced via an overlap similarity measure that insists that protein fragments assigned to overlapping regions of the sequence must hav...
